R. Margaret Dobson

Attorney Profile:   R. Margaret Dobson grew up in Redfield Arkansas.  She is the daughter of Conley F. Byrd, Sr., retired Arkansas Supreme Court Associate Justice, and Frances H. Byrd.  She is the wife of David Dobson, and the proud mother of three boys.

Margaret graduated cum laude from Harding University in 1990 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration.  She attended law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she served as a the Executive Editor on the UALR Law Review. 

After graduating from law school with honors in 1999, she clerked for the Honorable William R. Wilson, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas, and then went into private practice in 2001. 

Margaret's practice has focused on civil litigation, domestic issues, corporations, real estate property transactions, probate, and estate planning.  She has also worked on products liability and personal injury cases in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Margaret is a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers, Arkansas Bar Association, Grant County Bar Association, and Grant County Chamber of Commerce.  She has served as President of the Civil Litigation section of the Arkansas Bar Association and Secretary of the Tort Section of the Arkansas Bar Association, and has been a speaker for the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association.
